Join Black Girl Network for Create, Connect & Celebrate, a FREE confidence-building outdoor experience for Black girls ages 7–12.

Every Black girl deserves a place where she feels seen, valued, and celebrated.

This special summer gathering is designed to nurture confidence, encourage meaningful friendships, and create a strong sense of belonging through fun, engaging activities in a safe and supportive environment.

Throughout the day, girls will enjoy:

🤝 Friendship-building games and activities
💬 Confidence-building conversations
🧺 An outdoor lunch together
📸 Photo opportunities and lasting memories

Our goal is simple: to create a space where every girl feels empowered to be herself, connect with others, and leave feeling even more confident than when she arrived.

Talking About Confidence, Kindness & Standing Up to Bullying

We’re excited to welcome a special guest speaker to Create, Connect & Celebrate! She’ll be joining us for an age-appropriate conversation about bullying, confidence, kindness, and the importance of standing up for yourself and others.

Tassleem Lee

Tassleem Lee is the Founder and Fun Facilitator of Khaliyl’s Kids Family Care Foundation. She has more than 20 years of experience working with children and families as an Early Childhood Educator, Behavioural Interventionist, Life Coach, and through her current work with the Vancouver School Board.

Through Khaliyl’s Kids, Tassleem is committed to helping families develop healthy communication skills, strengthen their emotional intelligence, and build meaningful connections within their communities. She brings warmth, compassion, and practical experience to her work with children, youth, and families.

Enjoy a selection of delicious teas, indulge in sweet and savory treats, and connect with fellow Black girls in a warm, welcoming, and uplifting space.

Dress Code: Guests are invited to wear matching color outfits to create a cohesive and elegant High Tea experience.
